Although these training used to be face-to-face, due to COVID-19 the face-to-face requirement is webinar-based training until further notice. When submitting contracting you will be required to sign up for a webinar face-to-face training. Recertifying agents year after year with Simply will receive new products via email and the face-to-face training will be optional at the renewal year (year 2) and onward.

Is AHIP Required? No. All Cigna internal agents are required to take the Pinpoint Medicare training (an AHIP equivalent) in addition to our certification courses. The training needs to be completed as soon as possible - ideally by July 31.

This year Cigna will not be accepting the Groman certification, but AHIP and Pinpoint certifications only. Agents can go to Producer’s University to upload their AHIP manually, they can use the transfer tool, or they can complete Cigna’s certification.
